This policy explains what The Crowd collects, why, and what you can do about it. The app is published by Fat Moai, which is the controller of your personal data.

Information you give us. Your username and your mobile phone number, which we use to verify that you are a real, single player. If you contact support, we keep that correspondence.
Information created by playing. The answers you submit, your scores, shields, revives, placements, streaks, chat messages, reactions, and the invites you send or accept.
Purchases. If you buy something, Apple or Google handles the payment. We receive a confirmation that the purchase succeeded. We never see or store your card details.
Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, crash reports, and basic analytics about which screens are used. We use approximate region only, derived from your connection — we do not collect precise GPS location.
Notifications. If you allow them, a push token for your device so we can send show reminders.
Your username, avatar, level, badges, chat messages, and score are visible to other players and may appear in a broadcast or in clips we publish. Your phone number is never shown to other players.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate: app hosting, push notification delivery, SMS verification, crash reporting and analytics, and payment processing through Apple and Google. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of players and the game.
Account data is kept while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records longer — prize payments and tax records in particular. Chat messages and gameplay records may remain in show recordings.
Email and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
The Crowd is for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own; where it is, we use appropriate safeguards for that transfer.
If we change this policy materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
